DOT physicals
At Bloomer Chiropractic, we provide Department of Transportation (DOT) physicals right here in our office. A DOT physical is a comprehensive medical examination required for commercial drivers to ensure they are physically and mentally fit to operate a commercial vehicle safely. These exams are regulated by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) and must be completed periodically to maintain a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL).
During your DOT physical, our provider will review your medical history, check vital signs such as blood pressure and heart rate, test your vision and hearing, assess your range of motion, and evaluate your overall health. We’ll also review any medications and discuss lifestyle factors that may affect your ability to drive safely. Once the exam is complete, we will provide the necessary documentation for your CDL compliance.
